EQUITANA, Messegelände Essen, Messeplatz 1, 45131 Essen.

From 6-10 March EQUITANA will be open from 10:00 - 18:30, on 11 March EQUITANA will be open from 12:00 - 22:00 and on 12 March from 10:00 - 18:00. 

During the day, you can enter the exhibition centre through all three entrances, West, South and East. 

Tickets are available via our online shop at www.equitana.com/tickets and via www.ticketmaster.de (keyword EQUITANA). The ticket shop can be accessed via PC and mobile devices (e.g. smartphone, tablet). The purchased tickets will be sent by e-mail and can be printed out or presented digitally on a mobile device at the entrance. It is therefore also possible to buy tickets on site at short notice.

Tickets are also available via the ticket hotline +49 (0)1806 999 000 250 (daily 10.00 - 18.00). Here, only ticket sales are made by telephone. If you have any questions about EQUITANA, please contact our visitor hotline at +49 (0) 211 90 191 201.

To make it easier for you to find your way around the trade fair, the halls at EQUITANA are organised thematically and according to equestrian sports target groups.

The U11 subway line stops directly in front of the exhibition center. You can find more information here. Please note that the EQUITANA ticket does not include the use of public transport, a separate ticket must be purchased.

There are around 7,000 parking spaces close to the fair - and an additional 7,000 parking spaces in the P+R system with free use of the fair bus (e.g. P10). The parking spaces of Messe Essen are signposted with parking direction signs in the vicinity of the fair. 

Disabled persons with appropriate ID can park in car park P6 directly below the exhibition grounds (under Hall 3). Please have your badge ready.

No, visitors are not allowed to bring dogs / other animals onto the exhibition grounds.

Backpacks, bags and trolleys are permitted. Drinks and food may also be brought in. For safety reasons, no glass bottles are allowed. In the entrance areas you will find lockers and cloakrooms for safekeeping.

Smoking is permitted only in specially designated outdoor areas.

There is no childcare on site. However, we have organised a varied programme for our little visitors, for example with pony rides, a non-maintained theatre, handicrafts and painting.

Photography and filming at EQUITANA is permitted for private, non-commercial use.

Photography and filming is permitted at the shows with the following restrictions:

• Photography and filming only permitted without flash and without a tripod.
• Films published on the Internet and public networks must not exceed the maximum length of 1 minute per actor and the total length of 10 minutes.

Photographing and filming for commercial use (such as, among other things, the resale of images and films in digital as well as printed form) is subject to restrictions and requires the express permission of the organizer.
